Based on my early experiences in the workplace and the work that I’d done on empathy and communication, I created a program which is called The Empathy to Equity Blueprint. And it starts out by using empathy as a foundation and building on people’s empathy skills so that we can then move through these four e’s. So the first e, where it says number one, says empathy at work. The second e, number two, is Eliminate Bias. The third E is equity and inclusion. And then the fourth e is Engagement, transparency and Communication. And this is available on my website. So if you can’t see all of it, not to worry. But the point is that we use empathy to be a foundation for other work in the area of diversity, equity and inclusion. And that’s why it’s called the empathy to equity blueprint.
